We have an immediate opening for a highly motivated individual who is passionate about sustainability and has experience in commercial real estate and/or commercial building benchmarking in ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager.
The Sustainability Services Associate’s primary responsibility is to benchmark and optimize commercial buildings in ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager. This entails working directly with commercial real estate property management teams to gather building data; reviewing property documentation such as utility invoices, rent-rolls and stacking plans; reviewing existing ENERGY STAR accounts for accuracy; and assisting property teams in earning the ENERGY STAR Certification annually.
The position requires a self-motivated individual with a strong technical inclination, precise organizational skills and impeccable attention to detail. A successful candidate must have the aptitude to analyze data, strong interpersonal communication, writing and time management skills. Candidates with experience in Commercial Real Estate are preferred; experience benchmarking commercial buildings in ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager is a huge plus.
This full-time position will require being a contributing member of the team even as you are working through a demanding six-month learning curve. All employees work in our Dallas, TX office.
