GRESB REPORTING

Since 2011, LORD Green has been involved in the submission of 61 U.S. and International funds and REITS to the GRESB survey on behalf of our clients. Working in close collaboration with GRESB staff as well as industry organizations, LORD Green is advancing ESG within real estate. Mychele Lord is a founding member of the GRESB Benchmark Committee and both Mychele and Tema Yaravitz serve on all the GRESB Industry Working Groups for Survey development.

LORD Green Strategies works with its clients to complete all or part of the Global Real Estate Sustainability Benchmark (GRESB) survey. Analyzing performance year to year, setting goals, evaluating Performance Indicators quarterly, and working with property teams to translate the questions into real estate nomenclature, LORD Green has unmatched experience in completing the GRESB survey.

    LORD Green provides its clients with stand-alone sustainability reports following the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) framework.

  • UNPRI – Direct Property

    LORD Green has experience in completing the United Nations Principles for Responsible Investment – Direct Property Questionnaire.

  • CDP

    LORD Green provides greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions calculations for Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) reporting.

  • Greenprint

    We review property energy, water, waste, and refrigerant data to assure accuracy for Urban Land Institute’s Greenprint reporting.

CUSTOMIZED INVESTOR REPORTING

Investors are starting to require more transparency in sustainability performance and are asking more sophisticated sustainability questions in RFPs and investment evaluations. To meet the needs of investors, LORD Green provides customized sustainability reporting such as quarterly and annual sustainability performance, assistance responding to sustainability questions in RFPs, and developing case studies highlighting performance and innovation.

LEED O+M: EXISTING BUILDINGS CONSULTING
LORD Green has more than 60 million square feet of LEED® for Building Operations and Maintenance: Existing Buildings experience and has completed all projects on schedule and on or under budget.

We provide LEED Assessments or Gap Analyses, project management, and documentation services for buildings seeking LEED for Existing Buildings certification. Our consulting services support LEED implementation for individual buildings, campuses and portfolios of buildings.

IREM CONSULTING
The IREM® Certified Sustainable Property certification assesses the sustainability performance of existing properties in five categories – energy, water, health, recycling, and purchasing. Having partnered with IREM in 2016 as part of the Certified Sustainable Property Charter Group, we have certified over 20 properties to date.

BREEAM USA

BREEAM IN-USE FOR EXISTING BUILDINGS (EB) CONSULTING
BREEAM USA recently introduced BREEAM In-Use to offer a certification process to all existing commercial buildings in the U.S. The BREEAM In-Use program is a three-part assessment: the environmental performance, management and operations, and the management of building tenants and their activities and services within the building. As a Licensed Assessor Company with three BREAAM USA In-Use Assessors on staff, we are excited to bring some of the first buildings in the U.S. through the BREEAM In-Use certification process.

GREEN GLOBES FOR EXISTING BUILDINGS (EB) CONSULTING
Originally adapted from BREEAM, the Green Globes EB program assesses six different environmental assessment areas, Energy, Water, Resources, Emissions, Indoor Environment, and Environmental Management. Our success with Green Globes has proven it to be an excellent opportunity for existing multifamily buildings to achieve third-party green building certifications.

WELL BUILDING STANDARD CONSULTING
The WELL Building Standard® is an evidence-based system for measuring, certifying and monitoring the performance of building features that impact health and well-being. WELL is administered by the International WELL Building Institute™ (IWBI), a public benefit corporation whose mission is to improve human health and well-being through the built environment. WELL is third-party certified by Green Business Certification Inc. (GBCI), which administers LEED certification and LEED professional credentialing.

ENERGY STAR® Portfolio Manager®

As an ENERGY STAR® Service & Product Provider Partner, we are recognized experts at benchmarking buildings and optimizing existing accounts. Additionally, we provide benchmarking services to ensure compliance with energy and water benchmarking and disclosure laws across the U.S.

LORD Green was recognized as an ENERGY STAR® Top Certifier for 2014 as well as an Elite Member of ENERGY STAR®’s Certification Nation 2014 (certifying more than 150 buildings in 2014).

Benchmarking

LORD Green provides benchmarking services for all property types including office, multifamily, industrial, retail, and hospitality. In collaboration with property teams, we gather all necessary documentation to benchmark buildings to create a strong foundation for ongoing monitoring and reporting.

Optimization

Our consulting services also include existing ENERGY STAR® Portfolio Manager® account review and optimization. Ensuring data is precise and all-inclusive of building performance through our expert support results in our clients earning the most accurate score, typically higher than projected by initial calculations.
